Janzie was fast, he gave her that. "No, the shaking's definitely not good," Jeral said as he kept up as best as he could through the rubble.
But rubble was no match for a arm stretched out.
Jeral caught the arm full-force, directly in front of Janzie not a second after passing her. He saw stars as he fell down to the deck, landing on his back. He blinked a few times, as the Nausegaan that had clotheslined him came out and attacked Janzie, stepping over Jeral.

"And that's not good either," Janzie commented, once again wondering why she picked a human female as her form to be stuck in for awhile. "You think so do ya?" she muttered at the Nausicaan as he came at her. "Well I don't." The Nausicaan was bigger and stronger, but being smaller and appearing to be weaker led the brute into a false sense of security. He lounged for her and she ducked, slipping behind him and throwing all her weight against the backs of his legs.
It wasn't quite enough to down the larger form, but he stumbled, falling head first into a pile of debris that protruded from the wall. That dazed him long enough for Janzie to make contact between the butt of her rifle and the Naussican's head. With that obstacle down for the count, she made her way back to Jeral. "I'm starting to think this is a habit with Krezek's," she teased as she offered him a hand.

"Getting rescued by good-looking women with weapons?" he asked as he accepted the hand and got up. He was still a little woozy from the hit, and there was still a few stars. "It's all part of our charm, really." He stumbled backwards a it, and Janzie helped stabilize him. Jeral looked at her. "Remind me never to doubt your abilities again."

Janzie shrugged. "15 years ago, you would have had good reason to," she answered cryptically. "I've done a bit of growing up and a lot of learning since then." To think the first time around on a Federation ship, she wouldn't have thought twice about carrying a phaser because she wouldn't have wanted to touch the thing unless she was ordered to carry one...now she was knocking people unconscious with her body and a phaser rifle. Oh the things one learned out of necessity. But then a smile appeared on Janzie's face. "But I've got abilities you haven't even seen yet." Waiting a little bit to make sure Jarel was ok, she gestured in front of her. "Shall we try that again?" she asked with a smirk.

"Let's... but this time, you stay ahead," Jeral said with a lopsided grin. He took out a tricorder and scanned. "Got only a few biosigns, mostly weak ones. Hopefully none of them jump out at us."

Janzie gave a nod and turned her head back towards their goal. Jeral hadn’t said much in the way of details and that was both a good thing and a bad thing. Good in that in theory, they’d have an easy passage and the Admiral wasn’t in that area. It was bad if the Admiral was one of those weak life signs… Janzie shifted her rifle so that it was both out of her way as they moved forward, but also still readily available should they get ambushed again. “Let’s get going. We can’t let the Admiral have all the fun, now can we?”
